- This was the story of how Sir Lancelot saw a vision
- he was looking into a chapel where he saw an altar
- a great light streamed from the altar
- he tried to go into the chapel but he could not so he turned around and he laid down
- when he laid down he saw two white palfreys laying down a sick knight
- Sir Lancelot heard the knight recite something almost like a prayer
- after the knight had spoken the knight rose up and he approached the holy vessel and he was no longer sick
- Sir Lancelot tried to follow but he could not because his sin weighed way too much
- he then heard a voice that told him that he needed to leave the holy place because he was naked and sinful
- Sin Lancelot felt that his heart was heavy
- he cried and said how his sin and his wickedness have made dishonorable
